Tammy Watts Shook lives in Florence, MS with her husband and new puppy, Rebel. She has 3 sons and 3 grandchildren. In 2013, Tammy graduated from Hinds Community College with her Associate’s Degree. She then decided to further her career by attending their nursing program where she graduated in 2015 as an RN. She is currently utilizing her nursing degree as a pediatric OR nurse.
She has always had a strong inner desire to help others and has come to recognize it to be her true calling. Her extensive life experiences, coupled with her own healing journey, led her to her love of Reiki in 2018.
While attending a seminar presented by Dr. Brian Dailey at Soul Synergy, Tammy first learned about Reiki. He explained how he used the subtle yet powerful energy of Reiki to help some of his patient’s cope with their anxiety and ongoing oncology treatments at his practice in New York. This piqued her interest as it occurred to her that this may be a healing modality she could use to help herself deal with her own anxiety as well as introduce to the surrounding community. After much research, she enrolled in a Reiki class at Soul Synergy.
She received her Reiki I and II certification in 2020 under Allyn Evans, RMT of Energy Medicine Squared. Tammy went on to further her Reiki education by receiving her Master Reiki Practitioner certification in 2021 under Allyn Evans. She received additional training from her Reiki mentor, Krista Tew, RMT, of Holistic Health and Healing.
In February of 2022, her journey with Reiki became real and personal. Tammy was diagnosed with cancer. She immediately thought back to the presentation with Dr. Dailey. She knew she could use Reiki as an adjunct therapy to help her with her own cancer healing journey. And it has been. Tammy is ready and excited to serve as President of the Mississippi Reiki Association. Over the past twenty years, Tammy has served as a volunteer in several community and state organizations. She served in all capacities from member to president. Through her various roles in these organizations, it has afforded her the opportunity to learn valuable skill sets. She looks forward to sharing those skills in service to the MSRA. Tammy is a professional member of the International Association of Reiki Practitioners and the International Reiki Organization.
It is Tammy’s passion (goal) to continue to promote Reiki in the community and to continue to introduce wellness and mindfulness to others through her Reiki practice.

Kristy graduated Cum Laude from Delta State University where she majored in English with a concentration in creative writing and minored in Psychology. She also has an Associates degree from Holmes Community College (Grenada), has completed Entrepreneurship/Small Business courses from Hinds Community College, has taught herself social media marketing, and is currently studying UX Design and pursuing Yoga teacher training. She jokes that if she could make a career out of being a student she would, because some of her favorite things to do are study and learn.
Kristy loves her career as an assistant librarian and being a homeschool teacher to her three children. In her spare time, she enjoys to create art; binge watch The Office and Parks and Recreation; and read horror, fantasy, dystopian, and gothic fiction.
Several years ago, the calling to be a healer was overwhelming for Kristy. She took some time to evaluate exactly what she wanted to do for others – how she could be of service – and decided Reiki might be a good fit. But she needed to try it first and make sure it wasn’t some “fake mumbo-jumbo.” She decided to attend an event at Soul Synergy to try this “Reiki” thing out in person. What happened to her that day forever changed her life. “I could literally feel him pulling ‘stuff’ from me. All the gunk that had built up around me, that hung to me, he cleared it away and for the first time in a long time, there was light. I broke free.” She knew what she felt that day was something she wanted the whole world to experience, and decided then and there to become a practitioner. Within three months she was attending Reiki I and II courses and never looked back. “I wanted to share my light with the world. I wanted to help people heal and break free from what’s holding them back. What better way to be the light than to heal with it – through it? Reiki does so much for a person – mentally, physically, emotionally, spiritually – it would feel wrong not to try to help people on the path to heal themselves.”

Sharon Parish LMT, RMT
Sharon holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice from Delta State University and has had a successful 20 year career in Community Corrections.
In 2015, Sharon decided to serve her community in a different capacity and enrolled in massage school at the Alexander School of Natural Therapeutics, where she was introduced to Reiki and other healing modalities. After working as a Massage Therapist part-time for five years, she decided to start her own mobile massage practice, which services Greenville and the surrounding area.
Sharon was certified as a Reiki Master Teacher in 2022, by the Hubbard Education Group. Although she’s fairly new to Reiki, she knew from the first treatment received that she would dedicate her life to the practice, in order to assist in fulfilling her purpose on this earth as a healer.

Nette Wade is a mother, wife, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend. She has been an intuitive and natural empath since childhood. Her search on the path of healing began when she was seeking knowledge of how to protect, cleanse, and balance her own energy. She also needed to heal herself from physical ailments, emotionally from the trauma experienced in her life, and energetically to raise her personal vibration. Later on, she became aware of how her healing could also heal her ancestry line, collective consciousness, and even benefit those around her. This motivated her even more.
Nette Wade began her study of the Usui Method of Natural healing under Reiki Master Teacher Mystic D. Francis of the Academy of Reiki Studies and completed the master level in October 2021. She also studied under her mentor, Reiki Master Teacher Krista Tew. Nette Wade is currently a Reiki Master Practitioner and Treasurer of the Mississippi Reiki Association.
After becoming a Reiki Master, Nette knew that her life was forever changed and wanted to start developing her intuitive skills even more to be able to use them more intentionally. Nette studied under world renowned psychic and medium Jill M. Jackson. She graduated her yearlong Psychic and Intuitive development program at the Intuitive Compass Academy in September 2022 and also completed the yearlong Mediumship courses in November 2022. Nette is honored and humbled to now be able to provide reiki sessions and psychic readings for her client’s highest and best good, always offering a safe and nonjudgmental environment and also connect clients with their departed loved ones to receive messages. She now lives in service to Spirit and to give back to others by providing the help of support that she appreciated along her own path. Her goal is to help empower others on their journeys.
